SANDI SMITH

VICE PRESIDENT

I am Sandi Brickhouse Smith, a native of Tyrrell County, born and raised on “the creeks sand hill” just a few miles south of Columbia. In 2005, I married my husband, Jason Smith, who owns and operates J.S. Electrical and Plumbing Services. Together, we are blessed with two children: Gabby Smith Sexton, who is employed with our family business, and Jaxon Smith, a freshman at JW Smith Academy through homeschooling.

I am proud to be employed with Cherry Farms Seed Company, Inc., located on Highway 94 South near Gum Neck. Cherry Farms Seed Company is a customer-focused agricultural business engaged in producing small grain (wheat) and soybean seed that consistently meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations. I currently serve as the Human Resources Coordinator, working closely with the management team to support employees and ensure the effectiveness of the company’s quality management system.

In addition to my professional career, I co-own and operate Sand In Bloom, a flower farm that my dad and I run together. We are committed to growing this business in the coming years. At present, we offer fresh cut flowers at local markets and welcome visitors to the farm to enjoy a “cut-your-own” bouquet experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy hunting for unique antiques and thrift finds, reading a good book, and taking leisurely drives through town and along the beautiful roads of Tyrrell County—a place I am proud to call home.
