Jennifer has lived in Columbia for 25 years and enjoys life in a small town. This is also her 25th year working as a school counselor for Tyrrell County Schools. She loves her work, the best part being the relationships that she builds with students, families and staff. In a rural area, the school system has a very large impact on the community not only through educating students, it also provides opportunities for: internships, job shadowing, career fairs, as well as employment for the current businesses.  

Jennifer is married with three daughters and relishes the time she gets to spend with her family, both at home and at all of the ball games, dance recitals and church events they attend.
